Internationally, numerous private and public sectors are collaborating to build social network websites, knowledge platforms, supply chain overviews and are working towards discovering Cradle to Cradle solutions. Global C2C Project
BAMB – Buildings As Material Banks started in September 2015 and progressed for 3 and a half years as an innovation action within the EU funded Horizon 2020 program. Its goal is to enable a systemic shift in the building sector by creating circular solutions. The project has developing and integrating tools that will enable the shift: Materials Passports and Reversible Building Design – supported by new business models, policy propositions and management and decision-making models.
EPEA, with support from the DOEN Foundation, launched a healthy printing initiative to scale up availability of those healthier substances in printed publications and packaging, and invites its customers and partners to join the alliance. Healthy Printing aims at making printed paper a more economical resource for recycling and composting.
The e4ships project started in 2009, which is a cooperative venture between well-known German shipyards and shipping companies, leading manufacturers of fuel cells, universities, associations and classification organizations.It aims to improve significantly the energy supply onboard large vessels.
C2C Network
C2C Network is a 2 year, 3.02 billion euro Interregional Cooperation (INTERREG IVC) project. The project brings the provincial government, metropolitan development agency, agency for development and innovation design center, regional development agency, waste agency, and several enterprises together to share and fake rolex watches capitalize on regional good practices in implementing C2C principles regarding waste prevention and management.
Cradle to Cradle Islands
C2CI is an Interreg IVB North Sea Region Project with 22 partners from six countries surrounding the North Sea. The total budget for the project is €4 million (50% European funding, 50% co-financing by partners). The main goal of the project is to develop innovative solutions in the field of energy, water and materials, using Cradle to Cradle® principles as a guideline. The C2CI project puts the latest technology into practice, including biogas energy production, desalination, and renewable energy production, with the goal of solving energy, waste and water treatment problems, achieving self-sufficiency, and providing an example for other islands.
Regional C2C Network
EPEA, the environmental protection encouragement agency Internationale Umweltforschung GmbH, was founded in 1987 by Professor Dr. Michael Braungart. EPEA specializes in Cradle to Cradle product design and optimization as well as take back system development. Drees & Sommer and Prof. Dr. Michael Braungart have formally teamed up in 2019 to create a new company under the name of EPEA GmbH - Part of Drees & Sommer, and providing service worldwide.
EPEA Taiwan was established in 2010, being the first cradle-to-cradle consulting center in Asia. EPEA Taiwan provides C2C design, education, and certification counseling services in Asia.
EPEA Switzerland was established in 2009.
EPEA France was established in 2011. EPEA France then joined myUpcycle in 2019 and become Upcyclea.
Vugge til Vugge ApS is located in Denmark, and is specialized in developing customized circular business models for various businesses.
The C2C Platform Belgium helps enterprises and organizations understand the concept of Cradle to Cradle by providing concise, clear, and easily accessible information.
Cradle People provides a Cradle to Cradle introduction, an overview of the origin of the organization, organization constitution, event information, interactive discussion groups and members-only sections. In addition, Cradle People opened a facebook group called “CradlePeople Danmark”.
The C2C ExpoLAB website provides information including, cradle-to-cradle introduction, current plans, related news, reference link in English, Dutch, German, and French, for education and business use.
The Cradle to Cradle NGO was founded in 2012, as a non profit organization to spread the vision of Cradle to Cradle. It spurs rethinking and connects the various C2C actors from the economy, science, education, politics and society.
Cradle Net provides Cradle to Cradle event information, an event log, news, an introduction to the Cradle Net organization, membership and discussion groups.
The C2C Centre intends to become the leading C2C knowledge platform. It is supported by the C2C ExpoLAB foundation, the Chamber of Commerce Limburg, the municipality of Venlo and the European Union.
Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute
The C2CPII is a nonprofit organization providing Cradle to Cradle certification services and Cradle to Cradle certification training.
McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry
Michael Braungart and William McDonough established McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC) in 1995, providing Cradle to Cradle certification and related services.
William McDonough+Partners are specialists in Cradle to Cradle design and innovative solutions for architecture and housing.
