What’s the purpose of this platform?

• To perpetuate the Cradle to Cradle concept and to encourage good Cradle to Cradle practices.

• To serve as a communication channel for all network members. One through which participants can share their Cradle to Cradle achievements, collectively search for Cradle to Cradle solutions, and support each other in promoting the idea of Cradle to Cradle.

• To provide a place where members can brainstorm with each other and develop Cradle to Cradle action plans that will help direct Taiwan’s next generation of industry, agriculture, architecture, energy, city transportation and city planning. This step by step progress in Cradle to Cradle action plans is also progress in the areas of economic development and social welfare. 

• To promote stakeholder involvement and the mutual goals of stakeholders and civil authorities, especially regarding Taiwanese industries’ competitiveness and employment.

• To link Taiwan with international Cradle to Cradle networks.

What do we want to achieve?

The Cradle to Cradle concept is centered on the idea of nutrient management for sustainability, and through that stimulating economic development and promoting social welfare.
To achieve this, support and commitment from civil authorities and all types of enterprises are essential. Cooperation and frequent interactions between industries and academia can improve research results and promote the Eco-effectiveness of new technologies. Thus this platform (composed of commercial enterprises, civil authorities and academia) has been developed as a place to share experiences, to stimulate business innovation, and to implement the Cradle to Cradle concept in Taiwan.
