Venlo is the first region in the world to implement elements of the Cradle to Cradle® principles into its overall development. The Floriade World Horticultural Expo 2012 also drew inspiration from Cradle to Cradle®with its motto “be part of the theater of nature – get closer to the quality of life”. The Floriade offers participants the opportunity to enjoy the “theater of nature” as well as be inspired by it! The exhibition also provides insight into the vision of Cradle to Cradle® and how companies from around the world have already implemented it into their products and processes.

C2C Volunteer at Floriade 2012 – Request for your help!
Are you interested in volunteering at Floriade 2012 and spreading the word about Cradle to Cradle®Principles? Floriade 2012 is THE World Horticulture Expo, will take place from April to October, and has been chosen as one of the World’s Top Destinations for 2012 by CNN.
The Venlo Region is the first region in the world to apply the principles and objectives of the Cradle to Cradle® concept to the future development of the area and consequently created the Floriade Venlo Principles which are based on C2C®.
We, the scientific team at EPEA, have been busy organizing a great exhibition booth that showcases many different Cradle to Cradle® certified products and are now looking for volunteers who are willing to spend a few days at Floriade on behalf of the global Cradle to Cradle® Network.
The timeframe is from April 5 to October 7, 2012 and volunteers will be rewarded with free entry to Floriade and free accommodation in Venlo.
