The composition of DN4A-3A is 38.2% polyester (2bars), 40.8% polyamide (1bar) and 21.0% polyurethane (1bar), with a two tone result after dyeing. This product is intended as a technical nutrient.

Energy and Water are managed in the production of DN4A-3A. Yu Yuang Textile Co. implements continuous improvements and innovation to reduce environmental impact to a minimum. Yu Yuang Textile’s product level carbon footprint of DN4A-3A is certified according to ISO 14064-1. The carbon footprint of producing one yard of DN4A-3A is 14.92 kg CO2e. Reduction of the carbon footprint is part of the Yu Yuang Renewable Energy and Carbon Management Strategy.

The reduction of pollutants in wastewater is also important for the environment. Yu Yuang Textile has a three step process for reaching their water stewardship goals: Reduce chemicals to minimum, Remove dyestuff left in waste water, and Use eco-friendly dyestuff and chemicals.

To improve reutilization of their fabrics as technical nutrients, Yu Yuang Textile will develop a recovery plan to cooperate with municipal recycling and retailer-sponsored collection programs with an open and positive attitude. One additional option being considered would be the development of a recovery stream by their market channels.
